Yesterday we watched a short video about how Maui and his brothers slowed down the sun. We weaved paper and then we had to draw the picture that Mrs Nees-Kairua. Here is the link of the story we watched How Māui slowed the sun Peter Gossage. Maui wanted to slow the sun so there can be more time. Maui's brothers didn't want to to do it because it would burn them up. Maui and his brothers approached the sun during night because they did not want it to be known they were coming. The story about when Maui and his brothers slowed the sun is a myth. Maui was kinda fair because he made the sun slow down but it could be a little better if it was kinda faster than normal.

Today I did Cyber Smart Challenge 9. It was pretty simple but it was about charging your Chromebook. The video about Cyber Smart Challenge 9 tells you how to charge your Chromebook properly. This activity was pretty hard because I was confused in the start.

Easter Zone Kiwi Tag

 Easter Zone Kiwi Tag

On the 26th March we went to a kiwi tag tournament at Dunkirk (Marist). It was some TWP 6 students and some of TWP 4 students. First we had to wait at school until everybody got their uniform on. When we got on the bus we sang the song Tutira Mai and it felt like the bus driver was annoyed.

When we got to the fields we got some real tag shorts for the games. The teams that were there were Saint Pius X which is us, Panmure District, Parnell school and Sylvia Park. Saint Pius Team A which is my team our first game was against Saint Pius X B. It was a tough match but Team A managed to win 2 - 1. My teams second game was against Sylvia Park that game was so hard because we lost 6 - 0. The rest of the day was exhausting because I was never subbed out. We also had a relay race and I think Saint Pius X came third but their were 2 teams the team that I was in came third. The other team came last I think.

When the day ended we hopped on the bus and left back to school. Some people got picked up from their parents once the games were over.  When we got back to school a lot of people rushed to the fountains to fill up their water bottles and drink some water. When the bell rang we all went home for the weekend.

On Thursday we had some visitor's come and teach TWP 4 & Mr Gaffeny's year 5's how to use money properly. Their names were Gwladys, Palina and Fatima. The day after we did a activity based on the money making and we had to study on how people used cocoa beans for money. Here Is My Work Below!
