Yesterday we watched a short video about how Maui and his brothers slowed down the sun. We weaved paper and then we had to draw the picture that Mrs Nees-Kairua. Maui's brothers didn't want to to do it because it would burn them up. Maui and his brothers approached the sun during night because they did not want it to be known they were coming. The story about when Maui and his brothers slowed the sun is a myth. Maui was kinda fair because he made the sun slow down but it could be a little better if it was kinda faster than normal.
